hurlers

The Hurlers are a set of stone circles near the village of Minions on the edge of Bodmin Moor in Cornwall. There are the remains of three circles, as if they couldn't quite make up their minds about the position, or maybe it was a religious schism. Anyway built with local granite and relatively undisturbed by substantial copper and tin mining, and granite quarrying, in the area over centuries. Scary in the dark.
